2 days agoMalaysia through MEASAT will launch the MEASAT-3d satellite in French Guiana South America at 603 pm on June 22 503 am on June 23 in Malaysia. This will be the fourth satellite launched by Arianespace for MEASAT and will be the 137th Airbus Defence and Space satellite to be launched by Arianespace. First Ariane 5 mission in 2022 MEASAT-3b launched in 2014.

Toulouse 14 June 2022 The Airbus built MEASAT-3d telecommunications satellite is in Kourou French Guiana and is ready for its launch on an Ariane 5 on 22 June 2022. Measat-3d is a Malaysian geostationary communications satellite built by Airbus Space Systems. The launch also marks the first Ariane 5 flight for 2022 and it is also the 5th final.

The MEASAT-3d satellite which costs RM12 billion will be the most comprehensive and complex satellite in MEASATs fleet yet. It will significantly enhance broadband speeds of up to 100 Mbps per user in areas with limited or no terrestrial network throughout Malaysia while continuing to provide. According to Airbus MEASAT-3d is their 57th E3000 satellite and its also the 137th Airbus Defence and Space satellite to be launched by Arianespace. 2 days agoYau said that MEASAT-3d which is MEASATs newest and most advanced satellite is estimated to cost RM12 billion. MEASAT is launching MEASAT-3d the most advanced satellite in its fleet on 23 June 2022 between a launch window about 1 hour around 430am Malaysia time from Kourou French Guiana in South America.

MEASAT-3d is the 57th E3000 satellite built by Airbus and will be positioned at the 915E orbital slot and collocated with MEASAT-3b also built by Airbus. MEASAT-3d will be launched on an Ariane 5 rocket from the European Spaceport in Kourou French Guiana. Arianespace is scheduled to launch Measat-3d in early 2022.

Through this orbit the satellite will be able to service its primary area Asia and the Pacific. The operator hopes Measat-3d will restore its regional broadcasting capabilities at the 915 degrees East orbital slot and provide enhanced broadband service of up to 100 Mbps in areas with limited or without any terrestrial connectivity throughout Malaysia. GSAT 24 is a communications satellite of the Indian Space Research Organization.

It uses Airbus Eurostar E3000 and its designed with an estimated lifespan of 18 years. MEASAT-3d will serve the growth requirements of 4G 5G mobile networks in Malaysia while continuing to provide redundancy and additional distribution capacity for video in HD 4K and ultimately 8K in the Asia-Pacific region. The satellite was launched on the Ariane-5.

At launch and offers an operational life of 19 years. Ariane 5 ECA is a variant of the Ariane 5 heavy-lift vehicle with a taller ECA-D upper stage. MEASAT-3d will complement MEASAT-3a and MEASAT-3b at 915 E hotslot which provides increased and excess capacity for Astros DTH services as well as broadcasting telecommunications and broadband internet services.
